Leroy Sané To Become Bayern Munich’s New No. 10 By Cutting Salary Demands

Leroy Sané is determined to join Bayern Munich next season and is ready to lower his demands for the chance to join the Rekordmeister.

The club has reportedly hinted at his future importance by offering him the jersey number 10 once worn by Arjen Robben.

According to Bild, the winger is prepared to accept a salary cut of up to 30 per cent in order to join the German side.

Football Leaks also revealed that Sané was guaranteed €9 million per season.

That gives Bayern ample room to manoeuvre to insert Sané somewhere on the existing pay structure in which elite veterans like Robert Lewandowski earn around €15 million per season.

Sané and his agent are aware that not only transfer fees but also wages must be adjusted for the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

Bild reports that the competitive prospects that Bayern showed Sané are more important to him.
