Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made it clear during his press conference ahead of the visit of Tottenham that he is not happy with the lack of transfer activity.
To date, Manchester United have made just one signing in the form of midfielder Donny van de Beek.
He was not among their top targets heading into the window and the Norwegian still wants another left-back and right-forwarded while he is also open to signing a striker and centre-back.
Jadon Sancho remains the Red Devils' top target but they are set to miss out on the Borussia Dortmund star.
And now according to ESPN, Solskjaer is even willing to sell winger Daniel James to get a deal for Sancho over the line.
While Solskjaer is prepared to cut ties with the Welshman, the United board are said to be in favour of him staying at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer has made it clear that he has put pressure on the board to deliver in the final few days of the transfer window.
