Manchester United have encountered several problems with negotiations over a deal for their Borussia Dortmund top target.
Dortmund want £108million for Jadon Sancho, a fee the Red Devils feel is unrealistic.
One report has claimed the price of the deal could skyrocket to £208million, with wages and agents’ fees.
Meanwhile, David Brooks is expecting serious interest from Leicester, with United falling behind in the hunt to sign the Bournemouth winger, according to a report.
The Wales international is among the list of alternatives to Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
According to the Manchester Evening News, however, Leicester see him as a serious target.
As such, with United pressing ahead for Sancho, the newspaper claims they have fallen behind in the hunt for Brooks.
What’s more, United’s insistence on a move for Sancho means Brooks is more likely to move to the King Power Stadium, should Leicester make an offer.
Leicester would have until October 16 to negotiate with Bournemouth, with a window for trades between Premier League and EFL clubs starting on October 5.
