Manchester United are reportedly preparing a mega-money offer to lure Harry Kane to Old Trafford ahead of the 2021/22 Premier League season.
According to The Times, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are prepared to compensate the 2020/21 Premier League Golden Boot winner for any lost earnings he may incur if he submits a formal transfer request at the north London club.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will push for as high a fee as possible for his star man and Kane may be forced to submit a request to move his exit onto the next stage.
If that happens, the 27-year-old would forfeit any loyalty payments within his contract at the club, but the Red Devils are prepared to cover those costs as part of his signing on fee at Old Trafford.
United are confident that a move for the England star would offer a bridge between disgruntled United fans and the club American owners, the Glazer family this summer.
