Manchester United has already signed Donny van de Beek in the window but could land another midfielder
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly weighing up a move for Valencia midfielder Uros Racic.
The Serbian has a £92million release clause in his deal, but with the Spanish club facing financial difficulties, they could sanction a move for well below that.
Described as a box-to-box midfielder, Racic could provide a platform for Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pgoba to flourish.
The Sun report that as well as anchoring a midfield of Pogba and Fernandes, Racic could transition into a long-term replacement for the Frenchman.
It is suggested that United are planning a £28m bid , although no official approach has yet been made.
Valencia-based journalist Hector Gomez cofirmed United’s interest was very real, but at this point, it is nothing more than that.

Taking to social media, he posted: “Racic's environment confirms interest from @ManUtd_Es on the player but NOT the 30 million offer. Let's see if there really is a final offer or if it only remains in interest.”
