Liverpool and Real Madrid are two clubs interested in signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain and the forward is reportedly flattered that the Reds have expressed an interest in signing him from the Ligue 1 club.
The 21-year-old appears to already have his heart set on joining Real Madrid, as long as Zinedine Zidane is in charge.
Jurgen Klopp, on the other hand, has been doing his bit to try and bring the France international to Anfield.
Last month, Klopp called Mbappe's father to compliment the Frenchman and express his interest in signing him.
And now, according to Le10 Sport, who reported the phone call, the exciting young French forward is flattered by the interest of both Liverpool and Real Madrid.
However, Klopp himself has already ruled out the idea of signing the World Cup winner because it is not financially viable.
He said last November: “Buying this calibre of player is difficult.
“I don't see any club at the moment who can buy Kylian Mbappe from PSG.
“But it is about the money, of course. No chance. Absolutely no chance. Sorry for killing that story.”

To bring Mbappe to any club will cost around the £200million mark, a figure that will prove difficult for clubs during the current financial crisis.
