Medeama vs Remo Stars predictions
Prediction 1: Medeama to Win
The Ghana Premier League (GPL) champions have been a very good side at home; they've won their last seven skirmishes at the TNA Park. While their home form is brilliant, playing behind their supporters will be an added advantage for Medeama who looks more likely to pick all three points against the visitors.
Prediction 2: Both Teams to Score
While Medeama have scored in 11 of their last 13 matches, Remo Stars have scored in their last 11 games. The Sky Blues play good attacking football and will certainly pose some goal threats against the host. With both teams good upfront, it'll be very unlikely to not see goals at both ends in this encounter.
Prediction 3: Over 2.5 Goals
Like we've pointed out, these two teams are good in their offensive play. Bearing in mind they're both debutants in this competition, a lot is at stake. Medeama have been involved in high-scoring affairs in three of their last four games; on the other hand, four of Remo Stars' last seven games have gone over two goals. With all these in mind, we're fairly confident this matchup will produce at least three goals.
Medeama recent form
The GPL reigning champions are unbeaten in their last five games ahead of this clash; with four wins and a draw. They'll be eager to make history in their first game in this competition as they look to extend their unbeaten run to six.
Remo Stars recent form
Daniel Ogunmodede's side were the second best team in the Nigeria Professional Football League last season. They're unbeaten in their last ten games, with five wins and five draws. It'll be interesting to see how they perform against Medeama SC.
