Mikel Arteta Makes Eberechi Eze Transfer Target For Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has now turned to the Championship for players to help bolster his squad in the summer transfer window, with Eberechi Eze and Said Benrahma on his radar.

The Gunners are likely to be working on a reduced budget this transfer window, despite their £25million windfall from making it into the Europa League.

Arteta is looking to add some much-needed steel to his squad for the new campaign as his side look to make up ground on the Premier League elite and the second tier is full of talent.

Brentford star Benrahma is being widely tipped for a move to the Premier League next season.

Another name being mentioned as a possible signing for Arteta is QPR star Eze, who has excelled in a struggling team this term.

QPR rate the winger at something close to £20m but he could be available for less than that this summer.

His 14 goals and eight assists in 46 Championship games for the mid-table side has not gone unnoticed.

Crystal Palace have had an offer of ‘significantly less’ than £20m rejected by QPR, while West Brom and West Ham are also being linked.
