Lille striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed to a summer move to Italian Serie A side, Napoli.
Reports revealed that the Nigeria international will sign a five year deal with Gennaro Gattuso’s side after agreeing four million euros annual salary apart from bonuses.
It has now appeared that the Naples outfit has won the race for the 21-year-old who has been tipped to join either Tottenham or Liverpool.
Lille president Gerard Lopez confirmed a few days ago that the French side received several offers, but will only do business for the right money.
“There are multiple offers,’ Lopez told Sportsmail.
‘We turned down one English and one Spanish offer this January transfer window.
‘There is a wide array [this summer] and I wouldn’t want to give the names of the clubs who are bidding but what I can tell you is that there are multiple [offers]. There are three championships that have clubs that have bid for him.’ Lopez said.
The Super Eagles striker joined Lille from Charleroi in a ten million pounds deal last summer to replace Ivorian international Nikolas Pepe who departed from Arsenal for 72 million pounds.
