Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has finally completed a move to Danish premier league club SonderjyskE on a year deal.
His move to newly promoted Crotone collapsed after both parties failed to agree on personal terms.
SonderjyskE announced his capture on via its social media handle on Sunday afternoon.
“SønderjyskE Fodbold signs a contract with the former Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi.
The 27-year-old Nigerian midfielder has signed a contract with SønderjyskE for the rest of the current season with an option for an extension of two more seasons,” the club said.
Sports director Hans Jørgen Haysen is pleased that SønderjyskE has been able to attract a capacity like Ogenyi Onazi.
The 27 year old former Lazio of Italy player was excited after signing the deal.
” I am very happy to have signed here in SønderjyskE, and I am grateful that the club has given me this opportunity. I hope I can make a difference and my ambition is to help the team finish as high as possible in the table. I am a player who likes to take responsibility and work hard for things, and I will do the same here in SønderjyskE. I am very dedicated to this task and I look forward to playing for the club,” Onazi said.
