Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng is yet to sign a new contract at Arsenal with just 10 months remaining on his current deal and the 31-year-old has sparked more speculation surrounding his future with his latest cryptic tweet.
Aubamayeng is believed to be in ongoing negotiations with the club over a new deal.
The Gabonese international has appeared to suggest it is only a matter of time before he commits to Arsenal after tweeting an emoji of an hourglass.
Fans were quick to respond to Aubamayeng’s message, with one Twitter user writing: “Bro, don't play with our hearts like this.”
The cryptic tweet seemed to divide opinion among supporters, with some believing the Arsenal captain was teasing good news to come, while others felt it was hinting that the Gunners were running out of time to meet his demands.
Aubameyang is reportedly requesting a deal worth £250,000 per week to make him one of the club's highest earners behind only Mesut Ozil.
