PSG Set To Launch Official Bid On Liverpool Forward Salah

Paris Saint-Germain have contacted Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah over a potential summer transfer bid, reports suggest.

The Egyptian is facing an uncertain future at Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window, and could be offered a route away from Anfield.

According to French outlet L'Equipe, PSG have been in touch with his representatives over a possible move.

While talks are only at a preliminary stage at the moment, there's every chance they'll look to launch a bid depending on what happens in the final few weeks of the season.

PSG are sweating over the future of Kylian Mbappe, who will be out of contract in just over a year's time.

The French World Cup-winner has been locked in negotiations over an extension to his contract, but is yet to put pen to paper.

As a result of the uncertainty over Mbappe's future, PSG officials are starting to draw up contingency plans, with Salah reportedly a potential option.

Salah's contract will expire in 2023, and he admitted earlier this month that he is yet to be approached about an extension.
