Reigning French champions, Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on Villareal and Super Eagles dynamic winger, Samuel Chukwueze.

Already, 14 time UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid have reportedly shown interest in signing  the Nigerian international weeks ago with the 24 year old reportedly keen on the move.

With the looming departure of Marco Asensio, Real Madrid may step up their hunt for the tricky winger.

With the latest reports which indicate that Paris Saint-Germain have thrown their hat in the ring, Chukwueze may end up having to choose between the two clubs if both teams make a bid that satisfies Villareal.

With one year left on his current deal, Chukwueze is in a strong position and may be able to get a move for himself as Villareal will not want to lose him on a free transfer next summer.

He is currently valued at €80 million by the Yellow Submarines as they see him as one of the most valuable members of their first team squad.

Chukwueze to Become Messi Replacement

It seems more and more likely that Lionel Messi will leave Paris Saint Germain this summer on a free transfer. After his second season at the club did not go as both parties would have liked, the Argentine World Cup winner will seek a new destination.

Currently, there is an offer from Saudi Pro League side, Al Hilal for a mouth watering €600 million a year in wages. Messi has been offered a two year contract by the reigning Saudi Pro League champions and will get to play with current Al Hilal top scorer and former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo.

There is also the chance that the Argentinian may also return to Barcelona as the Spanish side are working on a way to bring Messi back to the Nou Camp this summer, despite their Financial Fair Play issues.

French sports magazine, L’equipe reported that Barcelona are working withInter Miami to sign Messi. The deal will see Inter Miami purchase the 35 year old before being loaned straight to Barça for 6-18 months.

With Messi gone, there is a major hole left on the right side of PSG’s attack and Samuel Chukwueze may just be the man to fill that hole.

The Nigerian National football team player is a winger who possesses a lot of pace and skill to dribble past defenders. He could decide to face up the defender one on one and use his variety of skills or he could knock the ball ahead of the defender and use his pace to reach the ball ahead of his marker.

He is a player who is good enough to break down set defenses or hurt defences in transition  with his dribble ability and pace.

This season, he has shown remarkable maturity and growth as a player. In previous years, he was seen as a talented player that was too inconsistent but this season, he seems to have finally put it all together.

With 13 goals and 11 assists in 48 games for Villareal this season, it is his best campaign in terms of end product.
