RB Leipzig have now confirmed a move has been made for Erling Braut Haaland, with the player’s decision being awaited.
The wonderkid, who has emerged as a prime target for Manchester United, has the option to follow several Salzburg players before him and move across the Red Bull empire.
Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche has confirmed an offer has been made, with the club waiting for a response from Haaland’s representatives.
‘’We have shown what we can offer him and which part he could play in our team. It's now up to him,'’ Krosche told Kicker.
Leipzig have always shown their desire to bring Haaland to Germany, in a move which could signal the exit of Timo Werner.
Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann recently admitted he had spoken with Haaland personally and outlined his vision for the club which he joined himself just this year.
Haaland and his people are also believed to have spoken with Borussia Dortmund, but it is the Red Devils who remain a constant front-runner for his signature.
