Solskjaer Reveals Man United’s £290m Transfer Wishlist, Ighalo Not Mentioned

Man United’s £290m Transfer Wishlist

Manchester United are said to be keen to improve their squad once the season ends with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer talking up plans to “exploit” the precarious situation rival clubs find themselves in.

Unfortunately, there was no mention of the name of former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo.

According to Evening Standard, £290million worth of targets are being prioritised to strengthen United's attack.

Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish are two players the Norwegian has reportedly identified, valued at £120m and £60m respectively, along with £80m Leicester star James Maddison and Birmingham teen Jude Bellingham, estimated to cost £30m.

While the Old Trafford outfit are not expected to sign all four players, it is becoming increasingly clear that the Red Devils are determined to press ahead amid the uncertainty.

Dortmund have insisted they will “respect” Sancho's wishes, should he desire a move, but are not prepared to let him leave on the cheap.

Solskjaer’s side qualifying for the Champions League will definitely play a big role in their ability to land the 20-year-old, as will the outcome of Villa's relegation battle in the Grealish deal.

United's business could be extensive if clubs are more willing to part with star players at the end of 2019/20, with Timo Werner, Moussa Dembele, Erling Haaland, Donny van de Beek, Matthijs de Ligt and Kalidou Koulibaly also of interest.
