Leicester City have signed Southampton defender Jannik Vestergaard, both clubs have now confirmed.
According to HampshireLive, Saints will receive £14million for his transfer, rising to £15million with certain performance and appearance-based add-ons.
He is eligible to play for Leicester against Wolves on Saturday.
It brings to an end Vestergaard’s three-year stay with the club, during which time he made 79 appearances.
The £15million that the club are likely to eventually receive for his services will take the amount they have received from him later sales this summer above £50million.
Vestergaard will be replaced this summer, says Ralph Hasenhuttl, who is already working through a shortlist of potential signings.
