Nigeria's Gernot Rohr is expected to unveil his squad ahead of next month's World Cup qualifiers in September. And expectations are high as to who will have their names on the list.
It will interest Nigerian fans to see new faces in the team while they keep focus ahead of the all-important duel against Liberia and the Central African Republic.
On this note, we take a look at Nigerian players abroad who deserves a call up to the Super Eagles side based on their recent performances in Europe.
Chidera Ejuke (CSKA Moscow, Russia)
The talented winger's name would be expected to appear on the list as he's been in top form following his positive start to the new season.
He made an assist for his side in the previous week while he scored a wonderful individual goal in his side's 2-0 win against Akhmat Grozny at the weekend.
His quality will be key to complement the likes of Moses Simon and Henry Onyekuru on the wings for Nigeria.
With Samuel Kalu under medics, eye watch and Villarreal's Chukwueze injured Ejuke would be a great replacement for them on the list.
Emmanuel Dennis (Watford FC, England)
The Super Eagles hopeful would hope to be on the plane when the Nigerian teams prepare for their doubleheader against Liberia and the Central African Republic.
He's done himself pretty well as he scored on his Premier League debut in the 3-2 victory over Aston Villa.
That form has seen him draw comparison with some of Nigeria's best in the EPL. And Gernot Rohr would have taken notice of his performance as he assembles the list for the Super Eagles.
Terem Moffi (FC Lorient, France)
Moffi will hope that his form in the ongoing French Ligue 1 earns him a recall to the Super Eagles.
Moffi was on the score sheet as he scored the winning goal that saw him make the difference when they played host to French giants AS Monaco.
And with the lure of playing for Nigeria especially during the World Cup qualifiers more lucrative per say, the striker can't stop dreaming about having his name on the list.
