Chelsea could sanction a number of departures before the January transfer window draws to a close, with several fringe members of Frank Lampard's squad being tipped to leave.
But having strengthened their squad with £220million worth of new recruits in the previous transfer window, it is highly unlikely they will have the funds to move for any player this month.
Nevertheless, that’s not to say there won’t be players heading for the Stamford Bridge exit, with a number of Chelsea outcasts being tipped to leave in January.
Here are three players who could depart before the deadline passes.
Fikayo Tomori
The 23-year-old centre-back is on the verge of sealing a loan move to AC Milan, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims there will be a £27million option-to-buy clause included.
Marcos Alonso
Alonso’s future in west London appears to be over, with Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan rumoured to be eyeing up a potential January deal.
Emerson Palmieri
The Italy international’s agent hinted at a potential Blues exit at the start of January and is said to be on Juventus’ radar.
