Some Liverpool fans have gone on Twitter to react to the departure of Lazar Markovic to Fulham.
As announced on Liverpool’s official website, Markovic has signed for Premier League rivals Fulham on a permanent transfer.

The winger joined the Reds from Benfica in the summer of 2014 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £20 million and when Brendan Rodgers – now the manager of Celtic – was in charge of the Merseyside outfit.
Much was expected of the Serbia international when he moved to Anfield, but the winger struggled to make an impact at Liverpool.
During his time at Liverpool, the 24-year-old spent time on loan at Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon, Hull City and Anderlecht.
With Fulham needed creativity in their attacking unit, Markovic will be a good signing for the Cottagers.
As for Liverpool, the Reds are not going to miss him as they have other and better-attacking players in their squad.

Good luck to him. Never really happened for him with us but he never seemed to complain, put a shift in for the U23's and seems like a genuinely nice guy. #YNWA @LMarkec50
