Update On Alexandre Lacazette Future Emerges After Agent’s Transfer Meeting

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has had his name prominently been linked with Juventus and Atletico Madrid.

But the Frenchman appears to confirm he will be staying at Arsenal this summer amid talk he could leave north London.

While his strike partner Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to sign a new deal, talks between the club and the former Lyon man over a contract extension have stalled.

As things stand, Lacazette has two years remaining in north London.

Mikel Arteta has made it clear that he wants to continue working with Lacazette who remains part of his plans.

All talk that he could be heading out the door has now been squashed by Lacazette himself on social media.

One supporter commented on his Instagram post: “One word. STAY.”

The striker then replied with a winking emoji, hinting that he is set to do exactly that.

The player's entourage recently held a meeting with Juventus in London to discuss a potential move to Turin, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

They were unable to find an agreement though which again strengthens Arsenal's position to keep Lacazette.
