According to a report, Nigerian hot-sensation Victor Boniface has attracted interest from Premier League side West Ham United.
The Hammers are interested in signing the in-form Bayer Leverkusen striker as they look to bolster their attack.
Boniface, 22, has started the season in scintillating form in Germany, scoring six goals in his first five games after arriving from Belgian side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.
In total, Boniface has now scored 11 goals and six assists in 15 games across all competitions this season and his form has led to increased attention.
The form at Leverkusen also earned him his first international call to the Super Eagles and since then, he has been a regular name in the squad.

West Ham United have now joined a number of clubs interested in the services of the striker as we approach the winter transfer window.
Confirmed interest for Victor Boniface from West Ham
West Ham are desperately searching across Europe for a goalscorer that can take the team to the next level and match the club’s ambition.
According to TeamTalk, West Ham are interested in signing Boniface as they look to bolster their attack.
While Victor Boniface is ambitious and scoring at a high level – including in the Europa League – it appears to be a tall order for them.
The combination of him only just joining Leverkusen, along with the Bundesliga side’s early season form, means West Ham would have to wait until the summer to sign him.
The Hammers may be willing to do this, but given their current situation, they could need a striker more urgently.
Meanwhile, the search for a forward also depends on the future of manager David Moyes as the club needs to choose the style of frontman they will bring in, and the current boss has clear ideas around what he would want which may not match what others within the set-up have in mind.
The publication also recently revealed last month how the club had given Moyes no assurances over his long-term future.
Teams interested in Victor Boniface
Transfer rumours surrounding Boniface went quiet after he only just signed for Leverkusen, but they are beginning to flare up again given his exceptional form.
Prior to his move, he was linked with the likes of AC Milan, Lazio and Napoli. Should Victor Osimhen leave Naples, Boniface would certainly be the ideal heir to his Super Eagles teammate.
Another team interested in his services are Real Sociedad who are keen to snap him up while they are bound to lose some of their own stars in the transfer window.
In recent times, Sevilla, Atlético, and Lazio have also been linked with a move for Boniface.
There’s also the talk that he could move to Real Madrid if Alonso is appointed as the next manager of the Spanish giants.
Despite the links from teams across Europe, Victor Boniface leaving would be a bit difficult because he just recently joined the German side who are currently top of the Bundesliga and has about five years on his contract.
