Former Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses’ reunion with Antonio Conte looks to be happening as the Nigerian made a surprise appearance on a picture of a team meal posted by Inter striker Romelu Lukaku on Wednesday night.
Then again, this deal had been rumoured for a while and looked to be making solid progress, so it’s hardly a surprise.
Moses was already spied leaving his presumably successful medical on Tuesday, after all.
The deal will reportedly take the form of a 6-month loan with a €10m option to buy at the end of the season.
But Chelsea’s other deal with Inter Milan seems to have hit a snag once again.
Terms may have already been agreed with both Giroud and Chelsea, but Inter are still trying to clear out Matteo Politano.
The backup forward was set to be traded to AS Roman for Leonardo Spinazzola, but that fell through at the last minute.
Now, Politano is apparently working on a deal with Napoli, but it could be yet another swap, with long-rumoured Conte target Fernando Llorente going the other way.

And if Llorente goes, then Conte won’t need Giroud anymore.
