Villarreal starboy Samuel Chukwueze is back on the radar of Premier League clubs and could be playing for Everton next season, according to The Athletic.
The Toffees are currently rebuilding their team after Carlo Ancelotti left and Rafa Benitez coming in to replace him.
And the New Toffees boss is said to be an admirer of the Nigerian star, who has a £71million release clause in his current contract.
The deal looks unlikely unless Everton agree to meet his release clause or wait for it to expire before making a move.
Chukwueze, who is under contract with Villarreal until 2023, has also been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United in the Premier League.
If the 22-year-old however makes the move to Goodison Park, he would be linking up with fellow Super Eagles, Alex Iwobi, who joined from Arsenal two seasons back.
