Watford are reportedly very close to getting the signature of Udinese winger Ignacio Pussetto to serve as a replacement for Super Eagles’ Isaac Success who is expected to depart the club this month.
The Nigerian has struggled for playing time this season and has been used just four times – and as a substitute – in the English Premier League
The 24-year-old Pusseto, who can also play as a striker or in an advanced midfield role, is in line to become the Hornets’ first acquisition of the January window according to reports by The Athletic in Italy.
Pussetto came in as a substitute in the 62nd minute of Udinese’s 3-0 win over Sassuolo in Serie A on Sunday and is expected to complete the move to Vicarage Road in the coming days.

Signed from Argentine side Huracan in 2018 by the fellow Pozzo-owned club, Pussetto has scored just once in 12 Serie A appearances this season.
