Arsenal are on the hunt for Charlton starlet Joe Aribo and have had him watched more than a few times this season, according to the Mirror UK.
The future of the Nigerian youngster with EFL League One club Charlton Athletic remains covered in mist, with his contract set to wind down at the end of the 2018-2019 season.
The 22-year-old has gained a reputation as one of the most exciting midfielders in the English third-tier on the back of his imperious displays for the Addicks and he's unlikely to remain with the club if transfer speculations are anything to go by.
Aribo has been likened to former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira by ex Charlton manager Karl Robinson.
Emeka Obasi, who acts as Aribo's agent, has close ties at the Emirates as he is also the representative of Nigeria national-teamer Alex Iwobi as well as another Hale End Academy graduate Chuba Akpom.
It's envisaged that there will be competition for Joe Aribo's signature, with the likes of Frankfurt and Benfica showing great interest.
Joe Aribo has scored six goals this season in 28 appearances in League One.
