Chelsea have finally completed the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan for £97.5million but the Blues are not finished just yet.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have now set their sights on another central midfielder and a centre-back before August 31.
And according to The Athletic, the Blues already have a clear idea of who they would like to bring.
Declan Rice, Aurelien Tchouameni and Jules Kounde are the current names on the Stamford Bridge club's shortlist.
Kounde is deemed to be the priority with Chelsea currently on the lookout for another defender.
However, Trevoh Chalobah's impressive performance in the Super Cup final win over Villarreal has certainly given Tuchel food for thought.
Chelsea had presented the idea of a player-plus-cash deal involving Zouma for Kounde but Sevilla said no, causing negotiations to stall.
Now Chalobah could be the solution for the Blues and Tuchel said in Belfast: “Absolutely that’s why he played,” when quizzed if the former Lorient loanee was in his plans.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have cooled their interest in Rice since Frank Lampard left the club but he is still well and truly on their radar.
