Earlier this season, the 33-year-old admitted that he considered a move to the USA would be a ‘nice option'.

Suarez said: ‘You never know, I have a contract at Barcelona, but in the future it's an attractive league. The USA is a nice option.'

His contract is set to expire in summer of 2021 though Marca have reported that he would try to extend his deal if he plays 60% of games available.

Lautaro Martinez look set to join from Inter Milan after an impressive season in the Serie A where he has scored 16 times in 31 appearances.

This could open the door for Suarez to leave, with Beckham's new Inter Miami outfit reportedly interested.
