Paul Onuachu’s supposed direct replacement, Ike Ugbo, will complete his long-awaited transfer to Genk this week, according to media reports via ScoreNigeria.
Genk are desperate to sign another striker as a cover for their former Goal King Onuachu, who could still make his big transfer this summer.
Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers is also at Genk and scored in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League ouster.
They have previously seen three bids for striker Ugbo rejected by Chelsea.
But according to Het Nieuwsblad, Genk have now offered 3.5 Million Euros and that does not include bonuses and other add-ons.
Ugbo, who was born in England to Nigerian parents, shone on loan last season at another Belgian club, Cercle Brugge.
