Manchester United have revealed they have no interest in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side believe the player's representatives have used the club to try and put pressure on Liverpool to make a bid for the 29-year-old.
Thiago has made it clear he plans on leaving Bayern this summer with Anfield his favoured destination.
The Red Devils came close to signing Thiago back in 2013 but Solskjaer has no interest in bringing the Spaniard to the club this summer, according to Express Sport.
However, former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness believes Liverpool and the Old Trafford outfit may have an agreement in place with Thiago already.
Thiago may have ended his Bayern career in some style by winning the Champions League last season.
