Lionel Messi and Paris Saint-Germain have agreed terms on his move to the French capital.
The Barcelona icon Messi had made contact with the French heavyweights and a move has progressed rapidly since then.
It is understood the six-time Ballon d'Or winner will be paid a sign-on fee of €25 million and has been presented with a two-year contract that will run until June 2023.
Messi will pick up a yearly salary in the region of £29.6million, which works out at around £570,000 per week, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
With his net salary per year at the Parc des Princes, the deal includes an option of a third year at the same rate.
Reports in Spain overnight suggested Barcelona had made a last-ditch attempt to keep Messi at the Nou Camp.
Messi will arrive in Paris over ‘the next hours' to rubber-stamp his move to PSG, who have already signed the likes of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi and Sergio Ramos since the beginning of the summer window.
