Mesut Ozil is set to end his Arsenal nightmare in January by joining Fenerbahce with a '90 per cent' chance.
The former Germany international has vowed he will not be forced out of the club as he continues to pocket his £350,000-a-week wages.
Ozil’s deal in Arsenal expires in the summer but the north London club are eager to get him off the wage bill sooner rather than later.
And their prayers could be answered by the Turkish giants.
Fenerbahce's club congress member Murat Zorlu claims Ozil is closing in on a move in January.
He told Sport Digitale: “A source, who’s very well connected to the club has told me that Mesut Ozil is likely to become a Fenerbahce player during the next transfer window.
“I would say 90 per cent he will join us in one month.”
The Germany ace has family roots from Turkey despite representing Die Mannschaft 92 times, winning the World Cup in 2014.
