Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen was again on fire in the French Ligue on Saturday night when he scored the winner for European chasers Lille in their 2-1 win away at Strasbourg.
Lille, who has not tasted a win in their last 3 games which included crashing out of both the League Cup and the French Cup, were desperate to return to winning ways.

However, their plans were frustrated when Adrien Thomasson made the most of a defensive howler from Renato Sanches to put Strasbourg ahead.
Christophe Galtier’s side then switched to the bench in the second half, introducing Johnathan Ikone, which saw the midfielder set up Brazilian Gabriel to equalize for Lille on 65 minutes.
The visitors were then handed a golden opportunity to take the lead 10 minutes from time when Luiz Arujo strike hit the hands of Lionel Carole with Osimhen stepping up to convert the resulting penalty to hand Lille all 3 points.
