Philippe Coutinho Has Asked Arsenal For ONE Thing After Initially Rejecting Transfer

Barcelona flop Philippe Coutinho is primed to leave the Nou Camp after a nightmare loan spell at Bayern Munich.

And the Brazil international has reportedly asked Arsenal for time despite initially rejecting a move to the Emirates.

The 28-year-old’s stock has fallen in the two-and-a-half years since he left Liverpool for Barcelona.

As a result he’ll be returning to his parent club once Bayern’s Champions League campaign is over.

And Sport say the Gunners are keen to land Coutinho, despite him already turning down a move to the capital because he didn’t want to take a pay cut, with the player earning £11million a year with Barca.

But he’s now asked them for more time and is keeping his options open amid interest from Tottenham and Leicester.

Both Jose Mourinho and Brendan Rodgers’ sides have Europa League football to use as bait when it comes to trying to bring Coutinho back to England.
