Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has wasted no time in compiling his summer shopping list as he pinpoints two Bundesliga defenders.
The Blues boss will work with the squad he inherited from Frank Lampard for the remainder of the season having opted against making any late January additions.
In the summer though he will look to sign a centre-half capable of taking over from Thiago Silva.
And he has identified Niklas Sule and Dayot Upamecano as his top two transfer targets this summer at Stamford Bridge.
Sule has been in and out of the Bayern Munich side this term and remains on the Blues radar, reports Bild.
The German has 18 months remaining on his deal but may seek pastures new in search of regular football.
Leipzig’s Upamecano is therefore another target with a host of Europe’s top clubs circling.
The Frenchman will be available in a cut-price deal this summer with his agent conceding that a move is likely.
