Thomas Tuchel is expected to sit down with Chelsea chiefs Marina Granovskaia and Petr Cech to discuss transfer plans for the summer.
Olivier Giroud is out of contract in the summer while Tammy Abraham has fallen out of favour under Tuchel.
The biggest question mark hangs over the head of Timo Werner, who has struggled since joining from RB Leipzig last summer.
Tuchel has favoured the likes of Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount recently to play in the front-three positions.
Now the Evening Standard report that Werner is facing a race against time to convince Tuchel that he has a future at Chelsea.
It is claimed that Tuchel will meet with Granovskaia and Cech in the near future with plans to target at least one forward in the transfer market.
Tuchel is said to be a ‘huge admirer' of Sergio Aguero, while the report also points out that Chelsea are in the race to sign Erling Haaland.
