Kylian Mbappe transfer news is taking over the media after reports emerged of the 24-year-old Parisian-born forward choosing to call it quits on his time with Paris Saint-Germain after the 2023/24 season.
The club are afraid of losing him for free and as such, are planning to put him on the market this summer, Goalball Live gathers. Further reports indicate that PSG intend to make at least €150 million from his transfer. As the latest instalment of the Mbappe transfer news saga builds up, here is a list of African players who could replace the French Prince at PSG.
MENSONGES…❌
En même temps plus c’est gros plus ça passe. J’ai déjà dis que je vais continuer la saison prochaine au PSG où je suis très heureux. https://t.co/QTsoBQvZKU— Kylian Mbappé (@KMbappe) June 13, 2023
Victor Osimhen
Nigeria national football team forward Victor Osimhen is one of the hottest strikers in world football at the moment. He finished the season as the Capocannoniere, the top scorer in the Italian Serie A after his 26 goals helped Napoli win their third-ever Scudetto in their history.
Bayern, PSG, Real Madrid, Man Utd all looking for 9s at the same time.
Victor Osimhen’s agents should be having zero sleep through this summer. If he can’t land in one of those clubs, they don’t know their jobs. Run a media campaign if you have to, get it done. He’s him.

The Nigeria Super Eagles striker is currently Africa’s most valuable footballer and has been Africa’s most expensive footballer since his move to the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in 2020. He is set to be Africa’s first €100 million player because PSG has been reported to be in contact with Napoli over his transfer.
He would have been lining up alongside Mbappe but now, he could be replacing the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner in the side.
Samuel Chukwueze
Another Super Eagles player who could replace Mbappe at Parc De Princes is Villarreal forward Samuel Chukwueze. Mbappe transfer news is all the rave in the media but the Nigeria football media is just as excited over Osimhen and Chukwueze, who are both attracting a ton of interest from all around Europe.

Goalball Live previously reported that the 2022/23 LaLiga African player of the year is on PSG’s radar as a potential replacement for Lionel Messi, who left the club on a free transfer to join Inter Miami. With Mbappe’s possible exit now staring the French Ligue 1 champions in the face, they could consider approaching Villarreal for the €80 million-rated forward.
Sadio Mane
AFCON 2021 winner Sadio Mané is a player who the Parisiens could target as Kylian Mbappe’s replacement. The Senegal international had an average season marred by injuries and team disputes. Reports from Germany now indicate that Bayern Munich could put him on the market despite him having two years left on his contract.
Bayern are struggling to find buyers in Europe for Sadio Mané. The Senegalese winger would prefer to stay on €22m/year than to leave with a significant paycut.

Mané, who is currently on international duty with African kings Senegal, is on the wrong side of 30 which means that he will be a short-term replacement. However, he will bring experience to the team, especially in the UEFA Champions League which he has won after participating in three finals.
Wilfried Zaha
Wilfried Zaha transfer news is making the rounds alongside Kylian Mbappe transfer news even though it is not gaining as much traction. Again, PSG is also involved as the Ligue 1 giants have been linked to the Crystal Palace youth product.

Sky Sports reported recently that they have made contact with him as he ponders on his future. The 30-year-old Ivory Coast forward, who is expected to lead the line for the Elephants at AFCON 2023 when they welcome the rest of Africa for the tournament, also recently turned down a mega-money offer from Saudi Arabia. His goal numbers are not as good as Mbappe’s but he will bring a new dimension to the side as the Mbappe transfer news continues to make the rounds.
