Is there a SportyBet welcome bonus in October 2026?
Not one you can see before signing up. We opened the Nigerian site on 20 October 2026, from a Nigerian connection, and went through the homepage, the promotions page and the registration form. The homepage box only says “Make a Deposit and Start Betting!”. The promotions page has nothing for new customers.
What is there leans heavily towards SportyBet's games section. The Crash Games World Cup advertises a prize pool of up to NGN 300,000,000, and a JetX campaign hands out NGN 50,000 in free bet gifts until 1 November 2026. Neither is a sign-up offer, and neither is about football.
This page used to describe a 150% bonus on your first deposit, paid out as gifts that had to be used on selections at odds above 3.15. Plenty of Nigerian betting guides still quote it, with caps that range from ₦10,000 to ₦100,000 depending on who you read. Those numbers do not agree with each other, and none of them appears on SportyBet's own pages today. New customers may still find a gift waiting in their account after registration; we did not open an account, so we cannot confirm it either way.
Our view is simple. Join SportyBet for its betting features if they suit you, not for a bonus. If a welcome offer is the main reason you are choosing a bookmaker this month, there are better-documented options further down this page.
How to register on SportyBet Nigeria
Signing up takes a minute, and there is no code to type.

- Set a password, then click Create New Account. By doing so you confirm that you are 18 or older.

What SportyBet offers instead of a bonus
SportyBet has put its effort into betting features that every customer can use. Four of them are listed on the promotions page.
2UP
Back a team on the 1X2 – 2UP market before kick-off. If that team goes two goals ahead at any point, your bet is settled as a win, even if the match ends level. It only works on pre-match bets, on selected football competitions, and the current terms run until 31 December 2026. A bet you cash out in full loses the 2UP cover; after a partial cash out, it applies to the stake that is still running.
Of the four features, this is the one we would use. A side that goes 2-0 up and gets pegged back is a common enough sight in football, and 2UP pays you out at the moment of the lead.
Live Odds Boost
Look for the boost icon in the live section. On marked markets you can tap Boost on the betslip to raise the odds. It is for live singles only, not multiples or system bets, and you get one boost per ticket.
Flexi
Flexi lets a multiple pay out even if some selections lose. You pick the threshold, for example 5 correct out of 7. The catch is in the price: the odds are fixed when you place the bet and stay the same whether you get 5, 6 or all 7 right. Flexi works pre-match and live, and you can cash it out.
One Cut
One Cut gives you a reduced payout if exactly one selection on your slip loses. A slider sets the balance between the full win and the One Cut win. One Cut bets cannot be cashed out, gifts cannot be used on them, and a voided selection can push the One Cut payout below your stake.

Insider tips before you sign up
- Do not deposit because a third-party site promised you a bonus. Open the promotions page on sportybet.com/ng first. If the offer is not there, or in your Gifts section after you register, it does not apply to you.
- Gifts and One Cut do not mix. SportyBet's terms say a gift cannot be applied to a One Cut betslip, so keep any gift you receive for a normal bet.
- 2UP is a pre-match feature. Add your pick before kick-off; you cannot switch a live bet to 2UP.
- Cash out carefully on 2UP bets. A full cash out removes the 2UP cover from that bet.

The footer of sportybet.com/ng says SportyBet Nigeria is licensed by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) under licence No 0001014.
That needs some context. Since the Supreme Court ruling of 22 November 2024, betting is regulated by the states, and the NLRC's powers cover only the Federal Capital Territory. The site does not mention a state licence, such as one from the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority, and we have not been able to confirm one.
